EMAS Certification at Evers-Druck

Evers-Druck first disclosed its achievements and future ecological goals to the public in 1998. Its voluntary participation in Act (EC) 1836/93 promotes the company's own ecological activities on the one hand and on the other hand integrates its employees and suppliers into all of the related processes.

EMAS is the acronym for Eco Management and Audit Scheme, which is also known under the names EU-Eco-Audit or Eco-Audit. EMAS was developed by the European Union and is a system that combines environmental management and environmental company audits for organizations who want to improve their environmental performance. The EMAS Act (Eco-Audit-Act) assigns a critical role to the levels of accountability in businesses in the management of their direct and indirect environmental footprints.

The quantitative results of the ecological balance sheet are consolidated in the annually published environmental declarations.
