Environmental Protection Program

Through our environmental protection program, we communicate and regularly pursue our continuous and current environmental goals to our corporate sites. To achieve this, we also communicate these goals at our periodic multi-site meetings, during which the goal development and the effectiveness of our program is reviewed and documented.

Our successful positioning among European competitors was contingent upon our ongoing investment activities into the latest technologies. Productivity is a key factor in the safeguarding of our existing employment opportunities. To stay on course, we have installed a new innovative printing machine that utilizes state-of-the-art environmental technology. Of course we also update and improve our technological processes on a continuous basis so that we can work in an environmentally responsible manner that protects nature and its resources.

The level of success we have achieved is evident in the further development of our monitoring and systems for environmental indices that depict our environmental management system services and processes in a manner that is transparent and accessible for everyone. This allows us to present, pursue and advance absolute and relative developments. These quantitative indices help us reduce our costs and demonstrate our environmental efficiency. A condensed and well structured number of indices makes it possible and facilitates the prompt recording of the system.
